Description
Any hunt. Any range. Go beyond what you ever thought possible with Federal Terminal Ascent 300 Win Mag. Bonded construction penetrates deep on close targets, while the patented Slipstream polymer tip initiates expansion at velocities 200 fps lower than comparable designs. The Federal Terminal Ascent 300 Win Mag bullet’s long, sleek profile offers an extremely high ballistic coefficient, and its AccuChannel groove technology improves accuracy and minimizes drag. Available in a full selection of long-range hunting cartridges.
The Federal Terminal Ascent 300 Win Mag (also known as .300 Winchester Magnum or 300WM) (7.62×67mmB, 7.62x66BR) is a belted, bottlenecked magnum rifle cartridge that was introduced by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1963. The .300 Winchester Magnum is a magnum cartridge designed to fit in a standard rifle action.
It is based on the .375 H&H Magnum, which has been blown out, shortened, and necked down to accept a .30 caliber (7.82 mm) bullet.
- Extremely high ballistic coefficient.
- Match-grade-long-range accuracy in a bonded hunting bullet
- Exclusive Slipstream polymer tips helps flatten trajectories and initiate low-velocity expansion.
- Less wind drift and drop
- AccuChannel groove technology minimizes drag
- Copper Shank and bonded lead core retain weight for deep penetration at any range.
